Cuties Xmas Cutexmastuttag

I am using the fabulous Crystalex-Christmas 2010 scrapkit, which can be purchased here:
http://crystalexgraphicdesigns.com

Plugins needed:
Alien Skin Xenoflex 2, which can be found here as a demo:
http://www.alienskin.com

Richard Rosenman, scanlines, which can be found here for free:
http://photoshop.pluginsworld.com/plugins/adobe/178/richard-rosenman/scanlines.html

Supplies needed:
snowflakeblueice frame, and Mask 43, which can be found on my site here:
https://flashy.forumotion.co.uk

Lets begin!

Open a 600x500 new image and floodfill in white. I chose #aae2b7 for my frame. With the ellipse tool, width
10, draw a cicle with your chosen foreground colour, background null.
Objects, align, centre in canvas, and convert to raster layer. Go to
effects, inner bevel, and use the settings as below:

Cuties Xmas Innerbevel-3

Now we need another ellipse in the same settings, except the width will be 29 this time.
Convert to raster layer, and drag this below the first frame. Go to Richard
Rosenman's plugin, scanlines, change the colour to #eba1aa and use the settings as below:

Another ellipse for the outer edge, width 10, foreground #aae2b7, and background null. Convert to
raster layer, and inner bevel as before. This layer, is the outer layer
of the frame. Drop shadow the inner and outer frame as below:

V=2
H=2
O=60
B=4.30
Col=black

X out raster layer 1, and merge visible. Un X.

For the snowflakes, the font is WWFlakes, foreground white, background null, size 6, stroke 1. Go to
the text tool and type a, convert to raster layer. I have chosen
to do this the hard way, to save using another plugin!

Place the first snowflake at the top centre of the frame. Duplicate and flip. Now duplicate again,
and and place half way down the left hand side of the frame. Duplicate and mirror.
Carry on doing this using image, mirror, and flip, using my frame as a reference.
X out raster layer 1, and merge visible. Un X.

Click on raster layer 1, and open Christmas paper 01 and
paste as a new layer. Resize to 60%. With the magic wand click inside the middle of the frame layer.
Go to selections, modify, and expand by 7. Selections, invert,
then click on the paper layer and hit delete, then deselect. lower the opacity to 75.

Click on raster layer 1, and add a new layer. Using the paper 01 as a
pattern, angle 0, scale 43, floodfill. Open mask 43, and go to layers, new mask layer
from image, and choose mask 43 in the source window. Make sure source luminance
and invert mask data are checked, and apply. Merge group, and resize to 120%.
Use the deform tool, to make sure it is even all the way around the frame.
Lower the opacity to 61.

Click on the mask layer, and add my snowflake blue ice frame, as a new layer.
Go to adjust, hue and saturation, hue/saturation/lightness. Use the settings as below:

Hue -63
Saturation 47
Lightness 15

Click in the centre of the frame and go to Selections, modify, expand by 7. Now click on the
green snowflake ice frame and hit delete. Deselect.

Open the Christmas bear and mouse and resize to 80%. Position it
centrally in the frame, so he is sat on the inner layer. Drop shadow as
before.

Open the green Christmas mouse in a stocking, and resize to 40%.
Place this near the top right of the frame. Open the
Christmas santa kitty and resize to 40%, and add a drop shadow. Place
this near the bottom left of the frame, so it appears to be laid on the mask layer.

Open the Elf 02, and resize to 40%. Image and free rotate 10 degrees to
the left. Place this near the bottom right hand of the frame, and drag the layer
below the frame layer. The strings should be hidden underneath the frame. Use my tag
as reference. Drop shadow.

Open the candycane 02 and resize to 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place this in the centre
of the left hand side of the frame, and add a drop shadow. Drag this layer to the top.

Open the green ornament 16, and resize to 20%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Add this to
the end of the stocking, and drop shadow.

Add a few stars here and there, using the WWflakes font.

For the word art, the font is Harrington, size 12, stroke 1, foreground #079a18, background
#ca4c4d. Convert to raster layer, and add a drop shadow. Position this in the
top right hand of the tag.

For your name, the same font, size 30, stroke 2, foreground #aae2b7, background paper 01, scale 43.
Convert to raster layer and drop shadow. Image, free rotate, 90 degrees right. Position down the
right hand side.

Add your credits. For the scrapkit, it will be © crystalexgrapicdesigns.

Click on the ... now green ice frame, and go to plugins, Alien Skin Xenoflex 2, and constellation. Change the settings
to bling bling. Use the rest of the settings as below :

Cuties Xmas Constellationsettings-1

Open animation shop. Copy merged and paste into AS as a new animation. Back to PSPro and use the back
button until the sparkle has gone. Apply the constellation once more, this time click on the random
seed, and copy merged into AS. Paste after the current frame. Edit select all, and animate.

Save as a GIF file.

Thats it, we are all done. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
